USA International Ballet Competition
Thalia Mara Hall once again plays host to the Super Bowl of ballet that runs through June 24 in Jackson. The opening ceremony begins Saturday night, with athletes beginning the competitions on Sunday with shows at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Ring of Fire: The music of Johnny Cash
A musical about "love and faith, struggle and success, rowdiness and redemption," Ring of Fire features the iconic music of Johnny Cash.

Pride Month Drag Brunch
Hal & Mal's plays host to a drag brunch featuring Joey Jay, Penny Nickels, Love Latonia, Sonika Boom, Will Ryder and Ka'Miyah Loreal Tymes.

James Taylor in Brandon
The area's biggest attraction is not this weekend but Tuesday when Grammy Award-winning singer ang guitarist James Taylor comes to Brandon. The singer of "Fire and Rain" and "You've got a Friend" has been a hit since the early 1970s and visits the Jackson area fresh off dates in Las Vegas.
