Jackson Mahomes Won't Stop Hitting on Nessa Barrett — and Josh Richards Isn't Having It

On today's episode of I Can't Stop Cringing, Please Make It Stop, TikTok star Jackson Mahomes won't stop shooting his shot with Nessa Barrett — even though it seems like she and ex-boyfriend Josh Richards are now back together.
It all started when Jackson made a duet with Nessa on TikTok, lip-synching these lyrics to "Lucky" by Lil Nemo: "Looking at me, I know you want to f*ck me / I'd give you this d*ck if you lucky / Been a few days, I just want me some cudi / Told her, 'Come on, bring a buddy."
Shockingly, that did not seem to woo Nessa (she used the same song on her original TikTok), but it did seem to annoy her rumored ex-turned-current-boyfriend, Josh.
Josh made a stitch of Jackson's TikTok. He let Jackson's original video play, then he added his own of himself standing in front of a bed with Nessa sleeping on it. He motioned to her and then did the thumbs-up sign. Translation? Josh is with Nessa, so stay in your lane, Jackson.
Unperturbed, Jackson said in the comments, "She looks bored 😂." But Josh replied, "Long night prolly tired." THE TEA, Y'ALL.
That's where the drama should've ended, right? Apparently, no.
Jackson commented on Nessa's Instagram showing off her 11:11 tattoo with, "I made a wish 😉." If the wish was to keep hitting on her to no avail, wish granted.
Later, Jackson posted videos to his Instagram story, shared by TikTokRoom, that showed him lip-synching to "Lets Link (Bad Business)" by Who Heem.
"I like you, I don't give a f*ck 'bout your boyfriend / Come on, let's link, can't do what I do / I can beat it up with no hands" were the super romantic, Hallmark-worthy lyrics he lip-synched.
Besides the fact that repeatedly hitting on someone who is unavailable is simply not a good look, Jackson's unending quest for Nessa is super cringey.
Jackson later pinned a comment by someone that shipped him with Nessa — after he posted "11:11," no doubt referring to Nessa.
During a live stream, someone asked Jackson if he liked Nessa. "Yeah, she's hot," he said. Another person asked if he was in love with her, to which Jackson replied, "I wouldn't necessarily say I'm in love with her, but I would love to take her on a date, for sure. She's super hot."
But wait — there's more!
On Sunday (January 24), Josh and fellow Sway House member Blake Gray posted about the Kansas City Chiefs versus Buffalo Bills game on their Instagram Stories. Apparently, Josh was pulling for the Bills to win, but they lost 24-38. Why is this significant? Jackson's brother is Patrick Mahomes II, the quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs of the NFL.
Jackson later posted a photo on Instagram at a football game and tagged Josh. "Can I send you a Chiefs jersey buddy?"
Blake later tweeted that though Josh lost the bet for the football game, he still won in the end with Nessa.

Something tells us this isn't the end of the feud between Jackson and Josh, and Nessa's caught in the middle.
