The White Pigeon boys doubled up Marcellus on Tuesday evening, winning 72-36.

In the game, Chris Jackson completed a triple-double on senior night. He scored 17 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and handed out 11 assists with three steals and two blocks.

The Chiefs jumped on Marcellus early, scoring 18 points in the opening quarter. They’d add 16 more in the second and led 34-13 at the halftime break.

Each team posted a dozen in the third. In the fourth, a 26-point spot from White Pigeon secured the game.Josh Davidson led the way with 19 points, five assists and five steals.

Ty Strawser scored 13 points with three rebounds and three assists, Wes Roberts added nine points with four rebounds. Adam Picking scored five points, Tanner Rowe had three points and five rebounds. Mekhi Singleton added three points with four assists and three rebounds, Gabe Adams scored three points and Zach Sowards-Haack pulled in two rebounds.

Marcellus was led by Nathan Mihills with 11 points and seven rebounds, Beau Ferguson scored nine points with six rebounds. Parker Adams tossed in eight, Quinton Tone added six and Austin Hartford threw in two.

Three Rivers beats Constantine

The Three Rivers boys beat Constantine 62-53 in a non-league game on Tuesday evening.

Andrew Brown led all scorers with 25 for Three Rivers.

Constantine jumped out to a 13-10 edge after the opening quarter. Then in the second, each team had its highest-scoring quarter of the game. Three Rivers put in 21 with Caleb Quake scoring eight points to lead the way. Constantine scored 15 points in the quarter, this put Three Rivers ahead 31-28 at the break.

Lukas Hagenbuch scored nine points in the third quarter as Constantine looked to get back in the game in the third. Three Rivers got some balanced scoring in that stanza with five separate players scoring a point.

The Cats led 43-42 going to the fourth. In that quarter, TR made 7-of-8 free throws and connected for 19 points to pull away.

After Brown, Three Rivers got 11 points from Quake, Jordan Pisco tossed in nine points. Louis Warmack scored five while Jace Gray, Heston Saunders and Caden Cottingham each scored four points.

Hagenbuch and Kaden Salisbury each led Constantine with 10 points, Rushaun James and Dean Topolski both scored eight. Donovan Miller threw in six points, both Cooper Juday and Isaac Moore added three. Carter McGee and Joshua Outlaw both scored two, Logan Osbourne made a free throw.
