Jackson State football DL Jeremiah Brown ejected from Celebration Bowl

Jackson State football defensive lineman Jeremiah Brown was ejected from Saturday's Celebration Bowl game against North Carolina Central after a flagrant personal foul.

Brown appeared to make late and high contact on an NC Central offensive lineman following the Eagles' go-ahead touchdown run with 4 minutes, 31 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Brown, a sophomore from Carrabelle, Florida, had five total tackles, including a tackle for a loss, in Saturday's game before the disqualification. He had 10 tackles for a loss, six sacks, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery this season as one of the Tigers' key contributors along the defensive line.

Jackson State and NC Central are locked in a tight battle, with the Eagles taking a 34-27 lead.
