Jackson State to play in SWAC Classics at Legion Field in Birmingham

The Jackson State football team will be the headliner this year, in 2023 and 2024 for the SWAC Classics in Birmingham, AL at Legion Field. JSU will play Arkansas Pine-Bluff in 2022 and they play Southern in 2023 and 2024. Even though these games won't be in Jackson SWAC Commissioner Dr. Charles McClelland told HBCU Gameday that each school projects to pocket 3 million dollars over a two year period and it allowed for the JSU to play Southern due to scheduling issues.
