Jackson State's Shedeur Sanders signs NIL deal with Tom Brady
Jackson State and freshman quarterback Shedeur Sanders are on a roll. Sanders became the first HBCU player to win the Jerry Rice Award for the top freshman in FCS football on Monday.
Travis Hunter, the nation's No. 1 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite, made history when he committed to the Tigers on Wednesday. The five-star recruit is the highest-ranked commitment in Jackson State and HBCU history.
The good news continued on Thursday, when Sanders became one of the faces of seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady's new apparel brand.
"I'm proud to partner with our lineup of NCAA and newly drafted athletes for the first @bradybrand campaign launching on January 12th, 2022," Brady announced on Twitter.
