The Jacksons are coming to Cincinnati. This week's big concert news

One of the most recognizable families in music history embarks on a tour this year, and luckily for us, Cincinnati is one of the cities they'll be playing. The Jacksons – consisting of original members Jermaine Jackson, Tito Jackson, Jackie Jackson and Marlon Jackson – bring their famous dance moves and mega-hits to the Hard Rock Casino Ballroom in November. The Motown super group and Rock & Roll Hall of Famers have five No. 1 albums, 18 No. 1 hits, 17 top 10 albums and 17 top 40 singles.

Tickets also go on sale this week for October shows by a couple of legendary guitarists. Eight-time Grammy Award-winning guitarist and double Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Jeff Beck will play Andrew J. Brady Music Center, and Robert Fripp, founding member of British prog rock band King Crimson, comes to the Madison Theater along with his manager and producer David Singleton. Fripp and Singleton's tour is a "speaking tour," where the pair will field questions from the audience.

Four-night art and music experience Blink returns to Cincinnati in October, and in conjunction with it is the UnderWorld Black Arts Festival, featuring Jarobi White, founding member of legendary hip-hop group A Tribe Called Quest. Jarobi famously disappeared from the band a few years back to pursue a career in cooking, which led him to work in some of the finest kitchens in New York City. At the Woodward Theater, the platters he'll be spinning won't come from the kitchen, but the tasty, hot, flavor-filled set of upbeat sounds and grooves he'll be dishing out will surely leave you sated. With Jarobi is special guest Vince Fraser "The Artivist," who brings his AfroFuturist projections from London, England.
