Jacksonville Armada releases 2023 NPSL schedule; games at Bishop Kenny, UNF Hodges Stadium

The Jacksonville Armada FC U-23 squad announced its schedule Monday for the 2023 season in the National Premier Soccer League's Gulf Coast Conference, a 10-game regular season with five games at home.

The first two home games will be played at Bishop Kenny High School's William H. Johnston Stadium, while the next three are set for the University of North Florida's Hodges Stadium. The Armada last played league games at UNF in 2018, although they played there in last Thursday's penalty shootout victory over Miami United in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

The NPSL schedule is separate from the U.S. Open Cup, a national knockout competition that continues for the Armada at 7 p.m. on April 4 against the USL Championship's Miami FC at Florida International University. Victory at that stage would advance the Armada to a third-round matchup, potentially against an opponent from Major League Soccer.

Last year, the Armada reached the South Region final before losing 2-0 to Tulsa Athletic. The NPSL lists 89 teams across the country in a semi-professional league structure with 14 conferences.
