Jacksonville firefighters respond to fire at The Blue Crab Crabhouse

The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department responded Monday night to a fire at The Blue Crab Crabhouse on Julington Creek Road.

Action News Jax’s Ben Becker recorded video of the restaurant, where smoke could be seen coming from the building.

The restaurant was closed at the time of the fire -- it is typically closed on Mondays, according to its website.

JFRD told Becker that the fire started in the kitchen.
