Jacksonville Jaguars preseason ends early against Miami Dolphins due to injury, score 31-18
The Jacksonville Jaguars preseason ended early at EverBank Stadium after a Miami Dolphins player was injured. Final score Jaguars 31, Dolphins 18.

The first home game of the season completed an unbeaten preseason for the Jaguars following road victories at Dallas (28-23) and Detroit (25-7) and concludes the NFL preseason schedule for Jacksonville.
The only previous time the Jaguars went undefeated in the preseason came in 1997, the team’s third year of existence. That Jaguars team had an 11-5 record and lost in the first round of the NFL playoffs.
The Jaguars’ starters played two series before reserves finished the night. The game was called with 8:32 remaining after Miami’s Daewood Davis was injured and had to be transported off the field and to Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. Both teams agreed to end the contest at that point.
The Dolphins reported post-game that Davis was conscious and had movement in all his extremities. It was the second consecutive week where an NFL preseason game was called because of injury, following the Aug. 20 game between New England and Green Bay.
The Jaguars begin the regular season on Sunday, Sept. 10 with a 1:00 p.m., game at Indianapolis.
FOX30 will broadcast the game against the AFC South division rival Colts. The home opener is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 17 against reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City, with a 1:00 p.m., kickoff to be broadcast by CBS47.

The Jacksonville Jaguars will play their final preseason NFL game at Everbank Stadium tonight at 7:00 p.m.
This game against the Miami Dolphins will be the first home game of the preseason after road victories at Dallas (28-23) and Detroit (25-7) and concludes the NFL preseason schedule for Jacksonville.
