Blue Crab Festival

The Blue Crab Festival, a highlight of the Palatka social calendar, returns this weekend after a Covid break. The festival, which runs from 6-11 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the downtown Palatka waterfront, features live music from Ginuwine, Fortune Child, Little Texas, Ramona & the Riot and Papercutt, fireworks Saturday evening and waterski shows on Sunday.

Live music

How about a little live music? On Friday, Wallows is at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre ($29-$125), Moonshine Bandits are at Jack Rabbits ($20), and LPT and Nightcrawler at Underbelly ($10) and Rett Wicker is at 1904 Music Hall ($12-$15). Saturday has Bright Eyes at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre ($41-$61), and Robert Earl Keen is at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall ($66-$96) Saturday and Sunday.

Jacksonville Home Expo

Other than pandemic years, Jacksonville has had a spring home show and a fall home show every year for decades. This year, they're introducing a third one. The Jacksonville Home Expo is at the Prime Osborn Convention Center from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, with experts on hand to help plan big home improvements, landscape designs, pool installations or kitchen remodels. Free.

Lil Duval at No Cap Comedy

Jacksonville's own Lil Duval is back in town, one of seven comics on the bill for the No Cap Comedy Tour. DC Young Fly, DeRay Davis, Chico Bean, Karlous Miller, Michael Blackson and Blaq Ron are also scheduled to perform. 7:30 p.m. Sunday at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. $59.75-$199.75.
