Where could the Phoenix Suns trade Jae Crowder?
Where could the Phoenix Suns trade Jae Crowder?

The Jae Crowder saga continues with the Phoenix Suns, but a new set of odds offers hope the NBA team could soon trade the forward, who has not played all season for the team.

Bookies.com released NBA trade deadline team odds for Crowder and it has the Miami Heat as the favorite, at +275, or a 26.7% implied probability.

The Atlanta Hawks are each at +450, with Atlanta having a 22.2% probability and Milwaukee interestingly at 18.2%.

The Suns are fourth in the odds at +500, or a 16.7% implied probability.

Only two other teams are included in the odds, the Indiana Pacers (+800, 11.1%) and the Brooklyn Nets (+1000, 9.1%). "The Field" is given odds of +525, or 16%.

The NBA trade deadline is Feb. 9 and speculation about Crowder's future has accompanied the team all season.

Bookies.com's Adam Thompson writes of Crowder's trade chances: "The Heat, our NBA betting frontrunners, and Hawks have inquired about Crowder for over a month, with the Bucks getting into the mix more recently. Three weeks ago, Crowder was part of a three-team trade that would have sent the former Marquette standout back to Milwaukee, but it fizzled late. All three of potential suitors are Eastern Conference contenders looking for help in the stretch run and beyond. Phoenix has held up any moves by seeking playoff-caliber talent in exchange."

Jae Crowder trade speculation

Sports Illustrated recently listed the Hawks, Heat and Bucks as the teams that could offer Phoenix the most in a potential deal for Crowder, including John Collins as a possible piece going back to the Suns.

Everett Williams wrote: "Giving up important role players for Collins could be worth looking into if the Suns want to make a major change. He certainly has the most potential of the available candidates for the Suns. Collins carries with him significant talent, but the checkbook will ultimately have the final say for the Suns."

Fansided speculated about the Suns trading potentially trading Crowder to the Cavaliers for Cedi Osman.

Josh Cornelissen wrote: "Osman could fill in some of that rotational space, giving the Suns a steady hand who has a decent jumper and good enough defensive chops. Whether it’s inside of a three-team trade or something worked out for Jae Crowder, Osman could help the Suns at a point of weakness as they’re trying to rebuild a contending roster in time to not miss the playoffs."

Report:Teams 'turned off' by Jae Crowder not showing up this season for Suns

Bleacher Report speculated that the price for Crowder might not be all that high.

Andy Bailey writes: "He could certainly bolster the rotations of both of those teams (Bucks and Heat), assuming it doesn't take too long for him to get back up to speed. And considering what he's done to his own trade value over the last several months, the final price of this trade shouldn't be too high."

Fansided speculated about the Bucks potentially doing a 3-team deal for Crowder.

Dalton Sell writes: "Despite their best efforts, the Bucks have not been able to pry Crowder away from the Suns, who are seemingly holding out to make a move until the deadline. The Bucks do not have the strongest assets in a trade for Crowder, so getting another team involved to give up some assets would help. Perhaps the Wizards will look to make more moves after trading Rui Hachimura to Los Angeles recently. With one big man out the door, perhaps they could look to add another, hence their rumored interest in Ibaka. The Crowder theory is just speculation, but it would make sense for the Bucks, who seem intent on adding the veteran power forward in the next few weeks."

Will the Suns trade Crowder? Where will he end up?
