The contract extension that Jacksonville Jaguars left tackle Cam Robinson signed in April isn't the only deal he's inked this year. The offensive lineman and former Alabama standout is now tackling home ownership with the recent purchase of a home in Neptune Beach.

Robinson, 26, purchased the three-bedroom, 3.5-bath home near Beaches Town Center on July 1 for $4.3 million. The Daily Record first reported the transaction, noting it was the most expensive home sale recorded in Duval County for the week of July 4-10.

By all accounts, Robinson has found the perfect place to chill after a tough workout or grueling road trip. Originally built in 1983, the two-story oceanfront home was completely remodeled in 2020, transforming it into a stunning contemporary beach villa.

The 2,922-square-foot floor plan features a huge master suite, a gourmet kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, custom cabinetry and generous walk-in pantry, as well as a rooftop entertainment deck with panoramic views of the ocean.

In addition to being fully updated for energy efficiency and hurricane safety, the home offers the latest in home automation, including remote-controlled window treatments and a Sonos sound system with Alexa switches.

A native of Monroe, La., Robinson played college ball at the University of Alabama, and the Jags selected him in the second round (34th overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft. After placing a franchise tag on Robinson in March 2021 and again in March this year, the team agreed to a three-year contract extension worth $54 million on April 27. The deal made him one of the top 10 highest-paid offensive tackles in the league.

During his rookie season, he was a member of the Jaguars team that won the AFC South and advanced to the AFC Championship game before losing to the New England Patriots. He has started all 61 games he has played for Jacksonville but missed most of the 2018 season after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

Robinson enjoyed a breakout season in 2021. According to Pro Football Focus, he allowed just one sack in 856 snaps and five penalties.
