Jaguars fans are donating thousands of dollars to Trevor Lawrence’s wedding registry
The Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to make Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft, but that’s not the only big event happening in Lawrence’s life this month.
He’s also getting married to fiancée’ Marissa Mowry this weekend.
What better way to welcome Lawrence to Duval than to look up the wedding registry for the happy couple and take care of a few items?
That was the thinking for one die-hard Jags fan, who started taking donations in hopes of buying them a high-tech, $300 toaster off their list. That gesture has snowballed into thousands of dollars in donations, according to the subsequent Twitter thread:

At the time of publishing this, the donations are nearing the $4,000 mark.
