Jaguars to host 2023 NFL Draft watch party at Daily's Place

The 2023 NFL Draft will kick off in under three weeks and the Jaguars currently hold the 24th selection in the first round.

Jaguars fans will be able to party and celebrate with each other during the action on Thursday, April 27, beginning at at 7 p.m. The team announced Friday that fans are welcome to enjoy a 'DUUUVAL Draft Party' at Daily's Place for a second-straight year. The event was canceled at Daily's in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19.

The event will be free, but fans must register for it. Gates 1 and 4 will open at 7 p.m. and season ticket holders will have early access to tickets on Friday, April 7, while the general public can visit www.jaguars.com/officialdraftparty on Monday, April 10 to register.

Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson is set to make an appearance, as are select Jaguars players, yet to be announced. Last year, Jaguars cheerleaders, the D-Line, Pederson, Hall of Fame left tackle Tony Boselli, safety Rayshawn Jenkins, safety Andre Cisco and cornerback Tyson Campbell were among those that made an appearance.

Optimism is at an all-time high right now for the Jaguars after the team went to the playoffs for the first time since 2017 after winning the AFC South in thrilling fashion down the stretch last season.

Now, the team will look got build on their past success by ushering in new blood, talented players from the college football scene that are expected to come in and contribute rather quickly.

Last year, the Jaguars held the first overall pick, ultimately selecting outside linebacker/defensive lineman Travon Walker with the selection.

Parking will be free on-site on a first-come, first-sever basis in Lots C, E, V, W, X, Y, XX and the shipyards Lot beginning at 6:00 p.m.

First-round coverage of the draft will kick off at 8 p.m. with fans able to watch NFL Network coverage of the event on three big screens within the amphitheater. Tickets for the event are mobile and will be limited.
