Jaguars have ‘no plans’ of a uniform change in 2023 offseason

The Jacksonville Jaguars are eligible to switch up their look this offseason, but the team isn’t planning on doing so, according to John Oehser of the team’s website.

“There are no plans for the team to change uniform design this offseason,” Oehser wrote Friday morning in his daily column on Jaguars.com.

The Jaguars have made several uniform changes in their history, most recently dropping their two-toned helmets for a cleaner, more straight-forward look in 2018. As teams are eligible to change their uniform after five years, fans have been clamoring for Jacksonville to return to its uniform design from the 1990s and the majority of the 2000s.

In December, the Jaguars sent an email to fans with a poll about the team’s uniforms and the retro look was an overwhelming winner.

Former Jaguars running back Fred Taylor fueled excitement about uniform tweaks too with his Jan. 1 tweet that “good stuff” was coming soon.

Alas, it seems for now that the Jaguars aren’t going to make any major changes in 2023.
