Jaguars OL Josh Allen named AFC Defensive Player of the Week after win over Titans

Jacksonville Jaguars offensive lineman Josh Allen is getting recognition for his scoop and score that led to the Jags’ win 20-16 over the Tennessee Titans in Week 18.

Allen was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week.

Here are his stats from the game:

• Tackles: 6

• Tackles for loss: 1

• Forced fumbles: 1

• Game-winning fumble recoveries for a touchdown: 1

Allen is not the only Jaguars player to receive Player of the Week honors this season.

QB Trevor Lawrence was the AFC Offensive Player of the Week in Week 14, safety Rayshawn Jenkins AFC Defensive Player of the Week in Week 15, and kicker Riley Patterson was AFC Special Teams Player of the Week in Week 16.
