Jaguars vs. Raiders fan guide: A salute to the military in final home game before Thanksgiving

The Jaguars play their third home in a row (well, technically ... last week's game in London against Denver counts) when they host the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday at 1 p.m. (CBS).

After this week, the Jags won't be at home until after Thanksgiving, against the Baltimore Ravens. They play at Kansas City next week and then have a bye week.

This week's game will be part of the NFL's Salute to Service. This week NFL teams will show their support to the nation's military. Visit NFL.com/Salute to learn more.

Among the activities at the Jaguars' game:

Oath of enlistment ceremony: More than 160 recruits from all branches of the military will take their oath of enlistment during a halftime ceremony, as required by Federal law. The ceremony will be conducted by Major Gen. Michael Beard. Following the Oath of Enlistment, the Navy Band Southeast will perform God Bless America.

Honoring the Purple Heart: This year is the 240th anniversary of the Purple Heart Award, given to Army personnel who perform "any singularly meritorious act of extraordinary fidelity or essential service." The Jags will honor six individuals who received the Purple Heart during a pregame ceremony.

Pregame South end zone honors: The Jaguars Foundation hosted the first annual “Battle of the Branches” flag football tournament Before kickoff they will recognize the winners from the Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, Ga.

Free tickets: The Jaguars partnered with CSX and the Greater Jacksonville Area USO to provide complimentary tickets to more than 6,000 active duty, retired and reservist military personnel and their families to Sunday’s game.

Other pregame activities

• First Duuuval! Performed by Petty Officer Alexander Penn. Officer Penn joined the Navy out of Jonesboro, Georgia in 2003 and served on the USS WASP LHD1, VFA-105 Gunslingers, and in Jacksonville as a Naval P3 Flight Engineer.

• The Star-Spangled Banner will be performed by the Navy Band Southeast. 

• The colors for the game will be presented by the Northeast Florida Joint Service Honor Guard.

• The flyover will be executed by four F-15 fighter jets from the 125th Fighter Wing, a unit of the Florida Air National Guard, stationed in Jacksonville. The 125th provides fully trained wing personnel and combat-ready F-15 air superiority fighters to the United States Air Force for contingency operations worldwide.

Arrive early, be cautious

• Because of road construction in the stadium area and the Jacksonville Fair being in operation, Jaguars fans are encouraged to arrive early and account for traffic congestion and increased crowds around the complex. Because of the fair, the following streets will be closed: Duval Street from A. Phillip Randolph to Franklin Street; Georgia Street from Adams Street to Duval Street; Franklin Street from Beaver Street to Duval Street.

• Fans parking on the west side of the stadium can access lots by using Adams or Bay Street.

• Fans who show a valid Raiders vs. Jaguars game ticket can access the fair beginning at 10 a.m. Admission is only valid for Sunday.

Fan reminders

• The NFL’s clear bag policy is in effect at TIAA Bank Field.  Fans are encouraged to leave all bags at home, but, if one is necessary, it should be either a clear bag no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” or a non-clear bag no larger than 4.5” x 6.5.”

• Fans should have their mobile tickets downloaded and ready to scan prior to arriving at the entry gates. To access your tickets, download the Official Jaguars Mobile App.

• Cash is no longer accepted anywhere in the stadium. In addition to traditional scan and chip options, all fixed points of sale will offer tap or scan payment options including JagsPay, Apple, Google and Samsung Pay.

• TIAA Bank Field is a smoke-free facility. All tobacco products (including e-cigarettes) are prohibited. No guest re-entry will be permitted.

Game Day timeline

9 a.m. -- All parking lots open

10 a.m. -- Game Day ticket office opens (north end zone between Gates 2 and 3); Fan Entertainment Zone opens (south end zone between Gates 1 and 4).

11 a.m. -- All stadium gates open.

12:22 p.m. -- Team warmups begin

12:47 p.m. -- Performance by The Roar.

12:49 p.m. -- Jaxson De Ville aerial stunt.

12:50 p.m. -- First DUUUVAL! delivered by Petty Officer Alexander Penn.

12:54 p.m. -- Jaguars defensive player introductions.

12:57 p.m. -- National Anthem.

1:02 p.m. -- Kickoff.
