The 2023 NFL playoffs begin Saturday and continue until the Super Bowl on Feb. 12. Several players who played high school and college football in Oklahoma will be helping their teams as they try to win it all.

There are 44 players in total, though some are on practice squads or are on injured reserve.

Here are the NFL players with ties to the state of Oklahoma to watch in the 2023 NFL playoffs.

AFC No. 1 seed: Kansas City Chiefs

Blake Bell, Kansas City Chiefs

Known as the Belldozer during his OU days, the tight end spent the early part of the season on injured reserve, rehabbing after hip surgery. In three games, he made two catches.

Orlando Brown, Kansas City Chiefs

The left tackle from OU protects Patrick Mahomes’ blindside. The fifth-year pro who moved to Kansas City from Baltimore last season has started every game since the 2019 opener.

Creed Humphrey, Kansas City Chiefs

The center made a splash last season as a rookie, anchoring the Chiefs offensive line. The Shawnee High and OU product is having another stellar season, being selected to the Pro Bowl.

James Winchester, Kansas City Chiefs

The eighth-year pro from Washington High and OU is a special-teams rock in Kansas City. The long snapper hasn’t missed a game in his career and rarely misfires in the slightest on a snap.

AFC No. 2 seed: Buffalo Bills

Jordan Phillips, Buffalo Bills

The eighth-year defensive tackle who played at OU has been limited by a shoulder injury, though he played about a quarter of the defensive snaps in the Bills’ regular-season finale.

AFC No. 3 seed: Cincinnati Bengals

Tre Flowers, Cincinnati Bengals

The fifth-year cornerback is in his first full season with the Bengals. The OSU product has played in 15 games, made 27 tackles and intercepted one pass.

Dax Hill, Cincinnati Bengals

The rookie defensive back has played in 15 games, starting two. A Tulsa Booker T. Washington High alum, Hill went to Michigan before being drafted in the first round by the Bengals.

Tyron Johnson, Cincinnati Bengals

The former OSU receiver is on the Bengals practice squad, but the third-year pro played two games for Las Vegas and two for Houston earlier this season.

Joe Mixon, Cincinnati Bengals

The OU product leads the Bengals’ rushing attack, leading the team with 814 yards this season. He has a team-high 1,255 yards from scrimmage in his sixth professional season.

Samaje Perine, Cincinnati Bengals

Perine often spells his fellow Sooner Mixon at running back in late-down situations. The sixth-year pro has 681 yards from scrimmage, the most since his rookie year in Washington.

AFC No. 4 seed: Jacksonville Jaguars

AFC No. 5 seed: Los Angeles Chargers

Kenneth Murray, Los Angeles Chargers

The linebacker is in his third season with the Chargers and is the team’s third-leading tackler. The former OU standout has started all but one game this season.

Amen Ogbongbemiga, Los Angeles Chargers

The second-year pro who went to Oklahoma State has played in every game for the Chargers this season. The linebacker has seen most of his snaps on special teams.

AFC No. 6 seed: Baltimore Ravens

Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens

The standout tight end is having another big season for the Ravens, catching 73 passes for 847 yards and five touchdowns. The OU product is in his fifth season in Baltimore.

Justice Hill, Baltimore Ravens

The Tulsa Booker T. Washington High and OSU alum is a backup running back in Baltimore. He has 49 carries for 262 yards, which is a single-season career high for the third-year pro.

Charlie Kolar, Baltimore Ravens

The Norman North product has been on injured reserve much of the year, but the rookie tight end made his NFL debut in Week 17, then had his first pro catch in Week 18.

Ben Powers, Baltimore Ravens

The OU product is one of the highest graded pass blocking guards in the NFL. He started every game this season, his fourth in the NFL.

Tylan Wallace, Baltimore Ravens

The reserve receiver has four catches for 33 yards this season. The second-year pro from OSU has been limited the second half of the season with a hamstring injury.

AFC No. 7 seed: Miami Dolphins

Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins

The speedy wide receiver who spent a season at OSU is in his first season with the Dolphins. He leads Miami with 1,710 receiving yards, second only to Minnesota Justin Jefferson’s 1,809.

Emmanuel Ogbah, Miami Dolphins

The former OSU standout defensive lineman suffered a season-ending torn triceps in Week 10. He has been on injured reserve since and is not expected to play in the playoffs.

NFC No. 1 seed: Philadelphia Eagles

Grant Calcaterra, Philadelphia Eagles

The tight end spent three years at OU before finishing his college career at SMU. As a rookie, he has played in 15 games, starting two, and has five catches for 81 yards.

Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles

The quarterback finished his college career at OU after three seasons at Alabama. The third-year pro has been electric this season, throwing for 3,701 yards and 22 touchdowns.

Lane Johnson, Philadelphia Eagles

The former Sooner standout suffered a thigh injury but delayed surgery to play in the playoffs. One of football’s best right guards is having arguably the best season of his 10-year career.

Trey Sermon, Philadelphia Eagles

He finished his college career at Ohio State after three seasons at OU. The second-year running back has seen limited action this season, playing in only two games.

Josh Sills, Philadelphia Eagles

The OSU product has seen limited action on the Philly offensive line as a rookie. He made his NFL debut in Week 5 against Arizona.

Tyrese Robinson, Philadelphia Eagles

The rookie offensive lineman is on the Eagles’ practice squad. The OU product has yet to play in a game this season.

NFC No. 2 seed: San Francisco 49ers

George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers

The Norman High alum is among the best tight ends in the NFL, and he enters the playoffs on a tear, catching seven touchdowns in the last four games of the regular season.

Trent Williams, San Francisco 49ers

The left tackle is in his 12th NFL season, his third with the 49ers. The former OU standout missed games earlier this season with an ankle injury but has started nine consecutive games.

Tay Martin, San Francisco 49ers

The former OSU wide receiver is on the 49ers’ practice squad, but he has played in two games this season, largely on special teams.

NFC No. 3 seed: Minnesota Vikings

Brian Asamoah, Minnesota Vikings

The rookie linebacker from OU has played in all but one gam. He has been used most late in the season, playing more than a quarter of the defensive snaps in the last three games.

Bobby Evans, Minnesota Vikings

The offensive lineman is currently on the Vikings’ practice squad after being waived by the Los Angeles Rams after Week 16. The fourth-year pro has played in 35 games in his NFL career.

NFC No. 4 seed: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

NFC No. 5 seed: Dallas Cowboys

Devante Bond, Dallas Cowboys

The sixth-year pro is currently on injured reserve. The former OU linebacker hasn’t appeared in a game since 2020 when he was with Chicago.

Neville Gallimore, Dallas Cowboys

The former OU defensive tackle is a regular on the Cowboys’ defensive line. In 16 games played, he has 33 tackles and one sack this season.

Devin Harper, Dallas Cowboys

The rookie linebacker is on injured reserve with an Achilles injury. The OSU product appeared in the first three games of the season, playing exclusively on special teams

CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys

The third-year wide receiver from OU is having his most productive season as a pro. He has 107 catches for 1,359 yards and nine touchdowns, all career highs.

Tyler Smith, Dallas Cowboys

The rookie offensive lineman from the University of Tulsa has been a starter since Day 1 for the Cowboys. He started every game, and in all but two, he’s played every offensive snap.

NFC No. 6 seed: New York Giants

Tony Jefferson, New York Giants

The former OU safety has appeared in nine games, starting one this season. He had a season-high four tackles in a week 14 loss against Philadelphia.

Rodarius Williams, New York Giants

The cornerback is in his second NFL season, both of which have been with the Giants. The former OSU standout made his lone start of the season in Week 18, recording 10 tackles.

Sterling Shepard, New York Giants

A record-breaking receiver at Heritage Hall and OU, Shepard returned from an Achilles injury this season only to suffer a torn ACL in the third game of the season. He is on injured reserve.

NFC No. 7 seed: Seattle Seahawks

Tre Brown, Seattle Seahawks

The cornerback played high school football at Tulsa Union before spending four years at OU. The second-year pro has played sparingly as a reserve, appearing in six games this season.

Tyler Lockett, Seattle Seahawks

The Tulsa Booker T. Washington High School product is in his eighth season in Seattle. The receiver has battled injury this season, but he has TD catches in seven of the past nine games.

Tyler Ott, Seattle Seahawks

The long snapper from Jenks High is on injured reserve and hasn’t played this season after playing in every game for the Seahawks the past five seasons.

Steven Parker, Seattle Seahawks

The cornerback played high school ball at Jenks before going to OU. He’s on the Seahawks’ practice squad after spending last season with the Giants.

Darwin Thompson, Seattle Seahawks

Another Jenks product. The running back is on Seattle’s practice squad after spending the first three years of his pro career in Kansas City.
