Jameela Jamil Just Called Out Khloé Kardashian On Instagram For Promoting Weight-Loss Products

From Women's Health

  • The Good Place star Jameela Jamil called out Khloé Kardashian for promoting weight-loss products on Instagram.

  • Khloé posted an Instagram Wednesday night touting meal replacement shakes from Flat Tummy Co.

  • Jameela responded to Khloé in her comments, calling the Kardashian sister "irresponsible."

If you are a celebrity who touts weight loss products, you’re probably going to hear from The Good Place star Jameela Jamil at some point-and Khloé Kardashian is her latest target.

Khloé recently did a sponsored Instagram post for Flat Tummy Co. where she raved about the company’s meal replacement shakes. “Loving how my tummy looks right now you guys!” she captioned a selfie where she’s wearing a pretty flowered bra and jeans.

“I brought @flattummyco’s meal replacement shakes into my routine about 2 weeks ago, and the progress is undeniable," she added. "P.S the shakes are 20% off today and you can get Flat Tummy Tea at a really good deal too. Go check it out!”

Honestly? It was pretty standard Kardashian stuff. But, knowing how Jameela feels about this stuff, people actually started tagging her in the comments. And once Jameela got wind, well, she didn't hold back and actually left her own comment on Khloé's post. I'm just gonna let Jameela speak for herself here:

“If you’re too irresponsible to: a) own up to the fact that you have a personal trainer, nutritionist, probably chef, and a surgeon to achieve your aesthetic, rather than this laxative product… And b) tell them the side effects of this NON-FDA approved product that most doctors are saying isn’t healthy. Side effects such as: Possible Flat Tummy Tea side effects are cramping, stomach pains, diarrhea and dehydration…Then I guess I have to. It’s incredibly awful that this industry bullied you until you became this fixated on your appearance. That’s the media’s fault. But now please don’t put that back into the world and hurt other girls the way you have been hurt. You’re a smart woman. Be smarter than this.”

But she didn't stop there. Jameela later shared a photo of herself on Instagram wearing all black and scowling off into the distance. "Waiting for someone to sell a weight-loss product to teenagers like..." she wrote.

Waiting for someone to sell a weight-loss product to teenagers like...

Of course, this isn’t the first time Jameela has gone after a Kardashian for promoting a weight loss product. Back in May, Jameela came out swinging after Kim Kardashian promoted Flat Tummy Appetite Suppressant Lollipops. (Kim later removed the ad, FYI.)

Jameela's Tweet had some pretty choice words: "You terrible and toxic influence on young girls," she wrote. "This family makes me feel actual despair over what women are reduced to." Oof.

So yeah, Jameela clearly has some thoughts on the Kardashians and their love of promoting weight-loss products. But hey, if no one else is gonna do it...
