JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — Police in James City County are searching for a suspect involved in an armed robbery that occurred on the morning of Jan. 25.

Around 4:45 a.m., an armed woman entered the McDonald’s located at 9193 Barhamsville Road. The business was robbed, and the suspect left the scene on foot in an unknown direction.

The case is under investigation, and police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. She is described as wearing a tan trench coat, a surgical mask and a large hat as seen in the photos above.
