Led the efforts to create a new workforce development department for the City of Charlotte and led the efforts to recruit Danielle Frazier as the Special Assistant to City Manager.

Organized the first HBCU football classic between North Carolina A&T State vs North Carolina Central University (first time HBCU football game played in Bank of America Stadium).

Supported the LGBTQ having a position with the Business Advisory Council, and Charlotte Business Inclusion Advisory Committee (CBIAC).

The future of Eastland Yards still hangs in the balance, with two options on the table — an indoor sports complex and one that would include a soccer academy, esports hub and amphitheater. Which do you support, and why?

What’s the minimum and the maximum commitment Charlotte should give to the Carolina Panthers for stadium renovations?

The stadium is an tremendous asset for our city. My commitment will be based on extending our tourism tax beyond 2035.

Is there an area where you disagree with your party on local or state issues? Why?

No there is not an issue I disagree with my party on local or state.

What separates you from your opponent(s)?

My ability to listen to a problem and provide a solution for our citizens. My passion to provide public service and being accountable for my action.

What one professional or political accomplishment are you most proud of?

This year working with citizens I was able to get the planning department to amend the new UDO to prevent landfills to be built in residence/neighborhood. Landfills are now moved from R3 to a new industrial category. Big win for all our neighborhoods.
