Jamie Collins shows off athleticism with backflip at Patriots practice

New England Patriots linebacker Jamie Collins had a little fun at practice Wednesday.

The 30-year-old veteran was caught by a WPRI 12 camera doing a backflip during the part of the session in which media can attend.

Check out the impressive display of athleticism in the video below:

Collins seems to be enjoying his return to New England, and based on how well he's played this season, who could blame him?

He's tallied 38 tackles, two forced fumbles, three interceptions and a career-high six sacks through nine games. Collins is a legitimate contender for the NFL Defensive Player of the Year, an award no Patriot has ever won.

The Patriots will return to game action Sunday afternoon for a Week 11 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field.
