Have Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes split? Actor ‘tells Oscars partygoers he is single’
Jamie Foxx reportedly told guests that he is “single” as he partied at Byron Allen’s annual Oscars bash.
Foxx, who is rumoured to have been dating Katie Holmes since 2013, appeared to confirm the pair have called it quits as he took to the stage to perform at the Beverley Hilton.
“Right before he sang, he seemingly told the crowd he’s single,” a source told HollywoodLife. “He had a lot of women on stage and danced with them. It appeared he told the crowd, ‘I’m single.’”
His alleged declaration came hours after he was pictured leaving a pre-Oscars party in Beverley Hills with models Shanina Shaik and Jasmine Tookes on Saturday night.
Standard Online has contacted representatives for Foxx and Holmes for comment.
The notoriously private couple went public with their relationship in December after they were pictured on board a luxury yacht in Miami.
Foxx later commented on the getaway, deeming it “foolish” when asked by US Weekly at a fundraising gala in January.
Holmes last year shut down reports the pair had split, after US site Radar Online reported they were struggling with “trust issues”.
A representative for Holmes told PEOPLE that the “story is 100 per cent untrue.”
Holmes and Foxx are believed to have met at a party in New York in 2013, about a year after Holmes’ divorce from Tom Cruise, who she shares 12-year-old daughter Suri with.
It was then claimed that a clause in the divorce settlement had banned Holmes from dating publicly for five years.
Foxx and Holmes rarely step out in public together. They were snapped hand-in-hand on a Malibu beach in September 2017 and later put on a cosy display at the Clive Davis and Recording Academy Pre-GRAMMY Gala in January 2018.
