It was Miller time once again at Fremont Speedway.

The track hosted its final race of the year, with the Oakshade Raceway Street Stocks competing against the Burmeister Trophy Dirt Trucks. Jamie Miller, Speedway’s dirt truck track champion, drove to his sixth truck win of the season.

Miller, from Fremont, took the lead from Adam Lantz on Lap 16 of the 25-lap feature and negotiated perfectly through lapped traffic for his seventh win at Fremont overall. He has a 305 sprint win.

It was Miller’s 12th win of the season, including six 305 sprint features. It's Miller’s 37th career win at Fremont, placing him 12th on the track’s all-time list.

“What a fantastic year," Miller said. "Don’t want it to end. I just tried not to screw up on the bottom and over-drive it. To be among the legends in wins at Fremont is pretty phenomenal. I never would have imagined this when I first started racing."

Lantz, who was disqualified after post-race inspection, jumped into the early lead of the A-main, with Shawn Valenti glued to his rear bumper as Dave Gumby and Miller battled for third. Miller moved into third on Lap 6 and had a spirited battle with Valenti until taking second on lap nine.

Lapped traffic came into play by Lap 13, allowing Miller to close on Lantz. The pair battled in tight quarters until Miller drove under Lantz to take the lead on Lap 16.

Lantz continued to hound Miller until the leader made a great move with a lapped car on Lap 19 and pulled away for the win. Valenti was credited with second, followed by Kyle Moore, Gumby and Gabe Mueller.
