Jane Fonda goes into extreme detail about her best kiss of all time

Jane Fonda has had quite a few famous kisses in her legendary career, from Robert Redford in “Barefoot in the Park” to Michael Caine in “Hurry Sundown,” but on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Tuesday she revealed her best kiss. The kiss was actually her first kiss, and it came off screen with actor James Franciscus. The two did summer stock together in Hyannis Port, Maine.

“He walked me out to the end of a pier and he kissed me,” Fonda recalled. “The stars began to whirl and the pier began to shake, and my knees gave way and I slid down to a pile at his feet. I never had a kiss like that ever since.”

JANE FONDA: My first kiss, I was, I was in summer stock in Hyannisport, Maine. And I had a crush on the stage manager, whose name was James Franciscus. The audience is too young to know who that was.
