Jane the Virgin bringing back major character one last time
Jane the Virgin only has a few episodes left before it wraps up for the final time, but now we know one of the special treats it has in store for fans.
Actor Brett Dier has been at the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con where he spoke to Entertainment Weekly about returning to the show as Michael for one last time.
He told the publication that: "My character is almost wrapped up. There’s three episodes left of the whole show and I’m in one of them."

Throughout the series, Michael has tried to deal with his criminal past and his memory loss. He was part of love triangle with Jane and Rafael, and she eventually chooses to be with the latter.
The show's narrator previously said that Michael will love Jane until his dying breathe, so we wonder if there will be any spark when he makes his return and if it will affect Jane and Rafael's relationship.

When Michael returned the last time (after he apparently died), showrunner Jennie Snyder Urman said that she wasn't surprised people would have a bit of a resistance to it, since they really want Jane to finally be happy.
Jane the Virgin airs on The CW in the US and on Netflix in the UK.
