Jang Gyu-ri departs from girl group Fromis_9 as contract expires

K-pop girl group Fromis_9 will now be eight following the announcement today from Pledis Entertainment regarding member Jang Gyu-ri’s contract expiration and departure.

The statement reads: “Fromis_9 will become an 8-member group starting from this coming August and will meet their fans in their upcoming Japanese activities and other various activities scheduled for the second half of this year.
