Japan coach bows to crowd after Japan eliminated from World Cup

Japanese football manager Hajime Moriyasu has won the hearts of netizens around the world for bowing to the crowd at Qatar’s Al Janoub Stadium.
Moriyasu, the 54-year-old head coach of Japan's national team at this year’s FIFA World Cup, made the humble gesture following Samurai Blue’s heartbreaking loss to Croatia on Monday. The recent loss marked the end of the East Asian nation’s World Cup journey.
Moriyasu was reportedly the last member of Japan’s national team to exit the pitch.

In addition to Moriyasu’s gesture, Japan’s national team also made headlines for tidying up their locker room after their win over Germany on Nov 23. Meanwhile, their fans have gone viral for again cleaning up the stadium following their loss to Croatia.
