Japanese Breakfast announced as musical guest for 'Saturday Night Live' season finale

Japanese Breakfast has been announced as the musical guest on the Season 47 finale of “Saturday Night Live.”

Also known as Michelle Zauner, the Korean American singer-songwriter will appear on the May 21 show along with “Orange Is The New Black” star Natasha Lyonne, who is making her hosting debut.

Zauner shared the announcement on her Twitter account, writing “Help!!!!!!!!” in the caption.

Zauner was joined by Lyonne as well as SNL cast members Kate McKinnon and Kenan Thompson for the promotional video released on Thursday.

Last year, Japanese Breakfast released her third album, titled “Jubilee.” At the 2022 Grammys, she was nominated for two awards: Best New Artist and Best Alternative Music Album.

Zauner is set to appear on the upcoming Friday segment of “The Tonight Show”’ for an interview with host Jimmy Fallon.
