Japanese wearable beanbag lets you chill anywhere

STORY: Fancy a nap at a moment’s notice?

This wearable beanbag lets you chill out anywhere, anytime

"It makes you a little heavy around the middle, but it's good fun."

Location: Tokyo, Japan

The beanbag was designed by Japan-based company Takikou Sewing

and has already become a hit on Japanese social media

[Shogo Takikawa, Takikou Sewing representative]

"This concept was born out of the idea of a cushion that would allow you to totally let go, any time, anywhere. You can put this on and chill out in your living room, or loads of other places, that's why we created it."

The wearable beanbags come in kids, medium and large sizes

and sell for about $120

[Yuu Matsuzaki, Marui group product buyer]

"It was lighter than I thought, and it's warm. I think in winter you'd feel pretty toasty after putting this on."
