Jason Bateman, Timothee Chalamet, Kristen Wiig to host ‘SNL,’ with Bruce Springsteen, Dua Lipa and rescheduled Morgan Wallen to perform

‘Tis the season for big-name hosts and performers on “Saturday Night Live.”

NBC announced Wednesday that Jason Bateman, Timothee Chalamet and Kristen Wiig will host episodes of the sketch comedy show in December, while Morgan Wallen, Bruce Springsteen and Dua Lipa will perform as musical guests.

Bateman and Wallen will kick off the month by headlining the Dec. 5 episode.

Wallen, a country singer, was previously scheduled to be an “SNL” musical guest in October, but was replaced by Jack White after being pictured partying days before his episode, despite the coronavirus pandemic. He later apologized.

Chalamet, the star of the upcoming movies “Dune” and “The French Dispatch,” will then host Dec. 12, with Springsteen and his E Street Band set to perform that night.

“SNL” will then go out with a bang in its final show before Christmas, with Wiig, a former cast member, hosting the Dec. 19 episode, and Dua Lipa performing.

Wiig’s appearance will be six days before her highly anticipated “Wonder Woman 84 1/4 u2033 hits theaters and HBO Max.

The current 46th season of “SNL” kicked off on Oct. 3 and featured new episodes in six consecutive weeks to coincide with the presidential election. The most recent new episode took place on Nov. 7.
