If you missed Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit last August at Terrapin Beer Co., the next opportunity is coming sooner than expected.

The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter is scheduled to perform at the Georgia Theatre at 8 p.m. on Jan. 24, and tickets are now on sale.

Isbell's 2022 tour will begin on Jan. 21 in Charlotte, N.C., and will come through Augusta's Bell auditorium the night before the Athens show. But supporting act Adia Victoria will not be performing at the Georgia Theatre concert. The U.S. dates last through August, and the tour will end in November following 12 European shows.

Like all of Isbell's concerts, attendees for the Jan. 24 date in Athens will be required to bring proof of COVID-19 vaccination in order to be admitted. In a now-famous MSNBC interview from August 2021, Isbell appeared on camera and stated, "I’m all for freedom, but if you’re dead, you don’t have any freedoms at all."
