Jaw-dropping video shows truck sliced in half by train

IXONIA, Wisconsin (WJW) – Wild video shows the moment an Amazon truck was split in half by an Amtrak train.

The collision happened in Ixonia, Wisconsin in November 2021, but the dash camera footage was just released that showed the crash from the inside.

The video shows Alexander Evans behind the wheel just before the impact.

Moments later, the back half of the truck is gone as the Amtrak train zips past him.

Evans was not hurt. Not even a scratch.

“Just air and the pressure,” he told WISN. “I felt the airbags.”

Evans also told the station that he is deaf in his left ear and did not hear the train horn before the collision.
