The comedian behind hits like “Super Troopers” and “The Dukes of Hazzard is heading to the Rhythm City Casino next month.

Jay Chandrasekhar is bringing his stand-up act to the Rhythm Room on Friday, February 23 at 7 and 9:30 p.m. There will be a presale on Thursday, January 25 at 10 a.m. and tickets will be available for general sale on Friday, January 26 at 10 a.m. Tickets will be available online here or at The Market at Rhythm City, 7077 Elmore Avenue in Davenport.

Director/writer/comedian/actor Chandrasekhar has been part of many critically acclaimed television programs and films in his career. He and his classmates from Colgate University formed Charred Goosebeak, a sketch comedy group after graduation. They changed the name to Broken Lizard and performed at comedy clubs and college campuses across the nation until the mid-1990s, when they decided to produce television and feature films.

Chandrasekhar directed, co-wrote and starred in the comedy cult classic “Super Troopers,” the highly anticipated “Super Troopers 3”, out this spring, ands “Club Dread” and “Beerfest.” He also directed the Broken Lizard comedy special, “Broken Lizard Stands Up.” In 2005, He directed “The Dukes of Hazzard” in 2005, which grossed over $111 million worldwide. He directed and starred in “The Babymakers” with Olivia Munn, Paul Schneider, Kevin Heffernan and Nat Faxon in 2012 and “I Love You, Man” opposite Paul Rudd and Jason Segel.
