Jay Cutler is endorsing Donald Trump for president.

Amid his divorce from Kristin Cavallari, the former NFL player and Very Cavallari star made his voting preferences known by resharing golfer Jack Nicklaus’s endorsement of the president in the upcoming election, writing “never a doubt.” He also shared it to his Instagram stories, “Sign me up.”

Cutler’s support is not exactly a shocker — after the 2016 election, he said he was “happy with the results” and noted, “I’ve supported Trump for a while. I’m not going to dive into it. I know it’s a sensitive issue, [but] I like where it’s going.”

Never a doubt

Fox News personality Tomi Lahren, to whom Cutler has been linked, but who denied a romance, commented on his new endorsement, writing, “Freedom over everything.”

Meanwhile, Cavallari joined a Laguna Beach reunion organized just to get people to register to vote via Head Count’s Good to Vote campaign. She hasn’t been as explicit about her political affiliation. (She was criticized for being seemingly dismissive of Trump’s “grab ‘em by the p***y” comment in 2016, saying, “I actually do think that guys talk like that.” However, she added that she would “probably slap” one of her sons if she heard him saying anything like that.)

Amid their split, early during the pandemic, sources were buzzing about how “incompatible” Cutler and Cavallari are. While she loves the Hollywood limelight, promoting her fashion business, new best-selling cookbook and perhaps a new TV gig once the dust of her divorce settles, he loves hunting adventures and sharing photos of his gun collection on social media.

But the parents of three are coming together for the holidays. While the divorce was very bitter at the start, Cavallari — linked to comedian Jeff Dye — recently said they’d been spending Thanksgiving together.

“I’m actually gonna be spending it just with my kids and Jay Cutler as a family. So, I’m looking forward to that,” Cavallari told Us Weekly. “Jay and I were discussing the menu together yesterday, and he’ll be on meat duty. I think he’s gonna fry a turkey and smoke a lamb leg, and then I’m gonna do everything else.”

She added, “I’m happy that we’re able to spend it together and have these conversations even though we’re in the middle of getting a divorce. So, I’m thankful for where we’re currently at.”
