With the 80th anniversary of the Willys MB coming up next year, we had expected Jeep to celebrate the occasion in some fashion. And we didn't have to wait long to find out just what Jeep had in mind for this anniversary: An eagle-eyed member of the Jeep Gladiator Forum has discovered two new special-edition versions of the Gladiator that we'll see next year, including the 80th Anniversary Edition and a Gladiator Willys. The details on the two vehicles appear to have been leaked from an internal Jeep dealer bulletin system.

Just what will these two special editions offer?

The Willys model is expected to offer a blacked-out front fascia, body-color fender flares, Willys decals, black 17-inch wheels with mud-terrain tires and a few other off-road goodies including Rubicon rock rails. Pricing for this model, if accurate, will stay relatively mild when it comes to the entire Gladiator lineup, with the Sport model set to be offered for just a couple thousand dollars north of the Gladiator's starting price. A more generously equipped version will throw in the Technology and Convenience items.

The 80th Anniversary Edition, meanwhile, will also serve up body-color fender flares along with neutral gray exterior accents, but will wear larger 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires. This special edition will receive plenty of 80th Anniversary badging throughout, while the interior will receive the 8.4-inch infotainment screen with premium audio. Remote start will be thrown in as a standard item for this version of the Gladiator and will be priced a bit north of the Willys model.

Keep in mind that this isn't the entirety of Jeep's 80th anniversary model plans — we're likely to see more special editions — as these anniversaries don't come around very often. Also, while looking at these MSRPs keep in mind that this pricing is not official at this point, and that the $1,495 destination costs are not included, in case you have your mind set on getting one of these as soon as they'll become available.

Speaking of just when they'll become available for ordering, since these are 2021 model year vehicles ordering is expected open up shortly, after Jeep formally announces the models as well as their pricing.
