Jeff Bridges is opening up to fans as he goes through cancer treatment.

A little more than a week after sharing that he was diagnosed with lymphoma, the actor shared a photo of himself standing tall while hooked up to an IV. The Dude — looking proud and gazing off into the distance — makes wearing a hospital gown look very cool, and does so while sharing first post on a new website, where he quotes his beloved "Big Lebowski" character.

"New (stuff) has come to light … I've got cancer," he writes on jeffbridges.com, a site that features handwritten musings and heartwarming doodles.

"This cancer thing is bringing on feelings of preciousness, & gratitude, & good old fashion love, & lots of it, big time. I'm feeling so much of it comin' my way, & man, I appreciate it," he says on his site. "It's contagious, all this love, like some kind of positive virus. I want to acknowledge & thank you guys for reaching out during this time. It feels good, getting all the well wishes & love!"

He writes, below doodles of people and a guitar (Bridges, himself, is a talented musician) and notes about trees, that he plans to continue to share his thoughts online.

Bridges tells readers, "I'm lookin' to be in partnership with you guys in creating a beautiful life & world for all of us. All in this together."

When the Oscar winner announced his diagnosis on Twitter earlier this month, he assured fans that "the prognosis is good."

He thanked family and friends for their love and support, and then shifted attention from his health to encouraging his fans to exercise their vote in the upcoming election: "And, while I have you, please remember to go vote. Because we are all in this together."
