Jeff Garlin, the former male lead of ABC’s “The Goldbergs,” says that he has bipolar disorder.

“Bipolar is a m-----f----r. Sometimes it’s just too much to deal with,” Garlin wrote Wednesday on Instagram. “I’m doing the best I can. This the first time that I’ve opened up about this.”

The shared the post on the same day as the premiere of the 10th season of the popular 1980s-themed sitcom.

The Chicago-born comedian, actor and producer parted ways with the show in December 2021, following an investigation into multiple complaints about his behavior on the set.

Garlin, 60, played the family’s patriarch Murray Goldberg. He left the show as the cast and crew were filming the 18th and 19th episodes of the 22-episode season.

Despite his sudden exit, however, his character continued to appear in the remaining episodes of the season through off-camera dialogue from previously unused takes and images.

Garlin was accused of physically attacking a stand-in and sending a sexually suggestive text to a woman employee, among other offenses.

In early December, he denied the misconduct allegations against him but admitted that human resources had been investigating him for three years for various issues.

The veteran performer — who was also in several episodes of “Arrested Development” and “Mad About You” — also played Larry David’s manager and best friend in all 11 seasons of the hit HBO show “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” which premiered in October 2000.

In 2013, Garlin was arrested for felony vandalism after he allegedly smashed the windows of a car following a verbal argument over a parking spot in Studio City, Calif.
