Jelly Roll is throwing an album release show at the Ryman next week

The Mother Church of Country Music gets a one-two punch from Nashville's own Jelly Roll next week.

On Wednesday, the rapper-turned-crooner throws a release show for his debut country album "Whitsitt Chapel" at the historic Ryman Auditorium. Tickets cost $25 before fees and go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. via ryman.com. At the show, Jelly Roll — an Antioch native born Jason DeFord who hustled in DIY hip-hop scenes for years before finding his way in modern country music — plans to perform the album in its entirety.

Show proceeds benefit Impact Youth Outreach, a non-profit program aiding at-risk youth.
