Welcome to The Columbus Dispatch. Here are our latest stories

After a two-year absence due to COVID-19, Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams Strawberry Jam festival is back.

The annual celebration for the Ohio strawberry season will take place beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Land-Grant Brewing taproom and beer garden, 424 W. Town St. The festival will feature food, drinks and music for all ages.

A schedule of performances, beginning with the Shazzbots at 11 a.m. each day will be highlighted. On Saturday, in addition to the Shazzbots, there will also be an aerial performance by Lexircus, a performance by the Robert Mason Trio at 3 p.m., followed by Mingbean and then MojoFlo to end the day. On Sunday, the Shazzbots and Lexircus will return before the Whirlybirds perform, followed by Honey and Blue before ending with The George Barrie Band.

Along with a strawberry patch, which will feature family-friendly activities until 5 p.m. each day, there will also be a special collaboration between Jeni's and Land-Grant Brewing, featuring a strawberry oat milkshake IPA called Splendid. It also will have an event-only strawberry tart ale and strawberry seltzer.
