“Today” show host Jenna Bush Hager received an adorable letter from her daughter that broke her heart “in a million pieces.”

Bush Hager’s 8-year-old, Mila, sent the letter from summer camp, and the host read it on Wednesday’s episode of “Today with Hoda & Jena.”

“How much longer ‘til you pick me up?” the letter reads. “I miss you too much. I need to stop crying, so goodbye. I miss you terribly Mom and Dad.”

Bush Hager previously spoke about the emotional moment when she dropped off Mila before the three-week camp for the first time.

“There was something about it because it’s the camp I went to as a little girl, so there was this nostalgia,” Bush Hager told co-host Hoda Kotb earlier this month.

“Also, I got out of the car and she said, ‘Mommy, I have sunscreen in my eyes.’ But I knew she didn’t have sunscreen in her eyes,” Bush Hager continued. “It was just this feeling of, like, she’s old! How is she old?”

Bush Hager said she wore sunglasses to hide her own tears.

Mila is the eldest of Bush Hager’s three kids. She and her husband, Henry Hager, also have a 5-year-old daughter, Poppy, and 2-year-old son, Hal.
