Jennette McCurdy is getting brutally honest in her brand new memoir, I'm Glad My Mom Died.
In the bombshell new book—which officially hit shelves today— McCurdy, 30, opened up about everything she went through as a child star, including the moment her friendship with former costar Ariana Grande began to crash and burn.
As reported by Just Jared, things started to turn sour for McCurdy while filming Sam & Cat, after she began to resent Grande for what she claims was preferential treatment given by their Nickelodeon supervisors.
In her new book, she describes Grande as a "burgeoning pop star" who was frequently allowed to miss filming their show while McCurdy was expected to "angrily hold down the fort."

"I booked two features during iCarly that I had to turn down because the iCarly team wouldn't write me out of episodes to go shoot them," she explained, noting that Grande was allowed to miss filming, which the producers remedied by having her character be locked in a box for the episode.
"Are you. Kidding me," McCurdy wrote, according to the outlet. "So I have to turn down movies while Ariana's off whistle-toning at the Billboard Music Awards? F--k. This." McCurdy described her anger and jealousy over Grande getting to pursue her music career while McCurdy was back at the studio, acting with a box.
But her final straw occurred one day when Grande arrived to set "whistle-toning in with excitement because she had spent the previous evening playing charades at Tom Hank's house."
McCurdy describes that as the moment she broke. From that point on, "I didn't like her. I couldn't like her," she reportedly wrote. "Pop star success I could handle, but hanging out with Sheriff Woody, with Forrest F------g Gump? This has gone too far."
"So now every time she misses work, it feels like a personal attack," the iCarly alum continued. "Every time something exciting happens to her, I feel like she robbed me of having that experience myself."
McCurdy's memoir is expected to be chock-full of other revelations, including more bombshell moments from her time at Nickelodeon and her complicated relationship with her mother.
The tell-all book I'm Glad My Mom Died is available today.
