Jennifer Anniston is returning to television for an iconic series reboot.

But it won’t be the popular 1990s sitcom that made her (and hairstyle) a household name.

The “Friends” star will join other A-listers for the third installment of Jimmy Kimmel and Norman Lear’s Emmy Award-winning “Live in Front of a Studio Audience.”

The special event, airing Dec. 7 on ABC, will feature reenactments of episodes from the popular 1980s sitcom “The Facts of Life.”

Joining the previously announced Ann Dowd (as Mrs. Garrett) will be Aniston (Blair), Gabrielle Union (Tootie), Kathryn Hahn (Jo) and Allison Tolman (Natalie) as the beloved Eastland School students who charmed prime-time TV audiences from 1979 through most of the next decade.

“I cannot imagine a better group than Jennifer Aniston, Allison Tolman, Gabrielle Union, Kathryn Hahn and Ann Dowd, and I can’t wait to do their hair,” Kimmel said when announcing the cast on Monday episode of his late-night talk show.

Airing for nine seasons on NBC, “The Facts of Life” was an original spinoff of “Diff’rent Strokes” that told the story of a woman who left her Park Avenue housekeeping position to become the housemother of a dormitory at an upstate New York private all-girls school.

The role of the wealthy and self-centered teenage Blair was originated by Lisa Whelchel on the series. Anniston, who is 52, currently stars on the acclaimed Apple TV+ drama series “The Morning Show.

“Live in Front of a Studio Audience” will also feature reenactments of “Diff’rent Strokes” — the show that introduced Mrs. Garrett — with cast members Dowd, John Lithgow, Kevin Hart and Damon Wayans.

Nominated for three Emmy Awards and taking home the prize for Outstanding Variety Special (Live), “Live in Front of a Studio Audience” reached a total viewership of 23.5 million, according to the network.

ABC’s first installment of the special, which revived episodes of “The Jeffersons” and “All in the Family” starred Jamie Foxx, Wanda Sykes, Woody Harrelson and Marisa Tomei in 2019.

The next year, a revival of “Good Times” featured Andre Braugher, Viola Davis, Tiffany Haddish, and Jay Pharoah.

Also produced by Will Ferrell, Justin Theroux, Kerry Washington, James Burrows, Brent Miller and Eric Cook, “Live in Front of a Studio Audience” took home two more Emmy Awards in 2020.
