For sitcom star Jennifer Aniston, a vote for Kanye West in the presidential election is no laughing matter.
“It’s not funny to vote for Kanye,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “I don’t know how else to say it. Please be responsible.”
That plea was part of a larger post by the “Friends” actress in which she encouraged her followers to vote and shared her support for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
“I voted for them because right now this country is more divided than ever,” Aniston wrote. “Right now, a few men in power are deciding what women can and can’t do with their own bodies.
“Our current President has decided that racism is a non-issue,” she continued, referring to President Trump. "He has repeatedly and publicly ignored science... too many people have died.”
The Instagram post included a photo showing Aniston, 51, placing her envelope into a ballot box.
West, 43, is included on the presidential ballot in at least 11 states, according to NBC News, but his name is not listed in many others.
The hip-hop star announced his candidacy in July.
