There was plenty of action on and off the screen for “American Pie” star Jennifer Coolidge.

The actress, who famously played Stifler’s promiscuous mom in the coming-of-age comedies, says the role granted her “a lot of sexual action” in real life in a new interview with Variety.

“There were so many benefits to doing that movie,” Coolidge said. “I mean, there would be like 200 people that I would have never had slept with.”

The Boston-born Coolidge, 60, appeared in all four “American Pie” movies as Jeanine, the mother of Seann William Scott’s character Steve Stifler who repeatedly sleeps with his friends.

The first “American Pie” movie came out in 1999, and the most recent, “American Reunion,” premiered in 2012. The franchise also stars Jason Biggs, Shannon Elizabeth and Alyson Hannigan.

Coolidge is also known for the “Legally Blonde” films led by Reese Witherspoon and for the CBS sitcom “Two Broke Girls” starring Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs.

She has appeared in more than 100 roles during her career.
