Jennifer Hudson Trusts This $30 SPF Moisturizer to ‘Work Well’ With Her Skin Tone

Jennifer Hudson just shared her favorite moisturizer with SPF that “works well” with her skin tone, the Olay Regenerist Whip SPF 25.
“I like the lightness; it feels natural. It feels like my skin can breathe,” she said of the product.
She also shared her favorite retinol serum and night cream from the brand.
As an actress, singer, and mom to an 11-year-old son, Jennifer Hudson doesn’t always have time for a 10-step skincare routine—the more multi-functional a product is, the better. That’s why she loves the Olay Regenerist Whip SPF 25 as her daytime moisturizer, because it acts as her sunscreen, too.
“[It’s] easy to use, and it has everything: from your vitamins to your sunscreen,” she recently told People in promotion of her partnership with the brand. “You don’t have to use several different things.”
The ultra-lightweight formula contains an advanced amino-peptide complex that helps improve skin’s elasticity while protecting it from the sun’s harmful UV rays.
The Respect star, 39, told Byrdie that she loves it because, unlike other sunscreens, it melts effortlessly into her skin without leaving a white cast. “[It] works so well with my skin tone. It doesn’t change my complexion or sit on top of it,” she said. “I like the lightness; it feels natural. It feels like my skin can breathe, and it works well with makeup.”
Her nickname for the product is “my whip,” a nod to its fluffy texture but also, its quick, convenient nature. And she isn’t the only one who loves it for those reasons.
“I never thought I’d find a moisturizer that feels like nothing is suffocating my face. It’s weightless and smooth,” one reviewer wrote on the brand’s site. “My makeup goes on better, and it lasts longer throughout the day with way fewer touchups. I have had so many compliments on my skin just in these last few weeks,” another added.
“I have tried some of the pricier face moisturizers but I come back to Olay Regenerist time and time again,” someone else wrote.
