Jennifer Lawrence’s Jeans Are Chaotic Evil
In case you hadn’t realized, Jennifer Lawrence seems to really enjoy wearing pants with a lot of buttons. Specifically, she’s been known to opt for jeans with a closure of not one but five snaps in the front. While the quintet design may teeter on the edge of pure chaotic evil as far as functionality goes, we have to admit — we’re fans of the style, too.
Most recently, the actress and New Yorker stepped out along with her husband, Cooke Maroney, wearing a pair of J Brand jeans adorned with her go-to design element. And while the actress’s dark gray Natasha Sky-High Crop Jeans mark a departure from the Citizens of Humanity ones she’s been wearing on repeat this winter, we're pleased to report that this style has even more buttons on the pockets and features a similar high-waisted fit.
Aside from Lawrence’s excellent taste in denim that requires highly refined motor skills, the stylish couple’s outing further continued her run of wearing very good winter jackets — one that’s been filled with Max Mara and Burberry teddy coats, and now this surprisingly affordable leopard, faux-fur pick from J. Crew. Spring may be around the corner, but we’re not quite ready to say goodbye to her outerwear inspo journey just yet, so this moment was a welcomed follow-up. As the old saying goes, all good things come in threes (or fives, sometimes). So it’s worth noting that J-Law isn’t the only celeb who’s been wearing J Brand as of late. Hilary Duff opted for a pair of the brand’s distressed black skinnies earlier this week and Jennifer Lopez showed her support for this controversial jean trend when she posed in a pair last month. If you ask us, that’s a Hollywood power trifecta we wouldn’t mind joining.
