Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have confirmed that they have split up.
The pair had been together since 2017 and were set to wed, but told the Today show in a statement that they have decided that they are “better as friends”.
It comes after rumours that the couple were going their separate ways.

The statement said: “We have realised we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so.
"We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects.
"We wish the best for each other and one another’s children.
"Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.”
Baseball player Rodriguez and actor and singer Lopez started dating four years ago and Rodriguez popped the question while they were on holiday in the Bahamas in March 2019.
Last year Lopez told US talk show host Ellen DeGeneres that her big day was "affected a little bit” by the coronavirus pandemic.
“Honestly, I really don't know what's going to happen now, as far as dates or anything like that,” she said. “We're just kind of in a holding pattern like the rest of the world. So, again, it's something we're just going to have to wait and see in a few months how this all pans out.”
Lopez has been married three times - to actor Ojani Noa, dancer Cris Judd and then singer Marc Anthony.

The singer, 51, has twins Max and Emme from her marriage to Anthony.
