Jennifer Lopez Demonstrates Why Everyone Needs a Babydoll Dress This Spring

Jennifer Lopez's spring wardrobe is the gift that keeps on giving.

In her latest outing, the "Jenny on the Block" singer met up with fiancé Ben Affleck and her mother, Guadalupe Rodríguez, for lunch at Malibu's Soho House. For the occasion, Lopez hopped on the latest minidress silhouette trend by wearing a babydoll dress.

This denim iteration hails from Gucci, even bearing the Italian house's iconic gold horsebit detailing on the chest. It also features a polo collar and a box pleated skirt.

She accessorized the piece with a colorful tote bag from Dior, violet-tinted sunglasses from Celine, and a pair of sky-high nude platform heels.

Rodríguez looked just as chic as her daughter in a leaf-printed blouse, white slacks, nude sandals, and a white Chanel shoulder bag. Meanwhile, Affleck tidied up in a white dress shirt, black blazer, black pants, and black dress shoes.

The Marry Me actress recently talked about balancing her career with her personal life in the latest edition of her personal On the JLo newsletter. Responding to a fan's question, she said she reorganized her priorities in order to protect her time with her family.

"Now that I'm getting married, it's about my family first and foremost," Lopez wrote. "It’s about having enough time to be the woman, the mother, the partner and the person that I need to be for the important people in my life. It must be a very special project if it’s going to take time away from my family."
